Configure Outlook with Gmail account - atharavcomputer.in

Here we show how to configure Outlook 2010 with individual Gmail accounts. So user can able to access mail when  Lot of  screenshots are present so it will understand easily, also  these steps are the same for both versions of Microsoft outlook like outlook 2007 2010 and also 2013.

configure Gmail with Outlook express -follow these steps

1 . Log in with your Gmail account

2. Now click on Settings.

3) Navigate to  the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab and make sure IMAP is enabled and click on save changes.

4) Now  Open Outlook Select Manual setup or additional server types

5) Then Select POP or IMAP service option 

6) Enter the mail server settings for your gmail account

Your Name:- type here your gmail name like Atharav computer

Email Address:- mentioned here gmail id

 choose

Account type: IMAP

Incoming mail server: imap.gmail.com

Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com

Logon information 

User name:- your gmail id

Password: gmail password

7) In More Settings, select the Outgoing Server tab.then Check  My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select the radio button next to Use same settings as my incoming mail server

8) Same window go to  Advanced tab and 

Incoming server (IMAP): 993 

Select Incoming server encrypted connection: SSL 

Outgoing server (SMTP): 25

Select Outgoing server encrypted connection: TLS

Made changes click OK

.

9) Click Next ...If you have entered correct information .You will see a new window showing that the account is being tested successfully then Click on finish .after finish gmail  account will be successfully configured with outlook
