  When  prints pdf file in hp laserjet 3020  an error message prints instead of the document.  The error reads -

Lot of search internet getting solution and its work for these situation 

Cause:-
Some versions of the UPD PCL 6 driver had an issue for auto  correct level of PCL XL on older printers. that's why  driver to send an incompatible version of PCL XL.
 so

Resolution
Check the driver being used, if its PCL 6 change it to PCL 5.

For change go to Printer properties >advanced tab  Drivers option present just click on and select PCL 5 drivers and for save click on apply and ok button .
