One of my user after open google chrome screen showing black also cant open settings of browser
after select setting showing only black screen so unable to show option also tried uninstall and fresh install chrome browser same error occur
after search on google got a many solution like Unpin Chrome icon from task bar ,then go to chrome Properties and end of the text string in the Target window should now read: ...chrome.exe" --disable-gpu" also try this but not work .

Solution:- this problem came in if you are using chrome 58 version with graphics card so solve this issue just uninstall exciting version and install chrome 46 or older version .after open this is work normal just go to chrome setting and unchecked use hardware acceleration when available.
after done that update chrome with latest version ,its work for me .
